The school
computers are connected to an Internet Service Provider (ISP). They connect
throught a digital phone or a modem. The Internet Service Provider is connected
to the Internet. When you are using an Internet browser software to navigate
the Internet, your computer sends in commands to the ISP. Internet sites
then receive the information that you sent them. Then the ISP returns the
information sent by the Internet sites to your computer.
