Current Reality:
- Student technology skills limited to instruction in the Learning Center and pilot teacher-only classrooms.
- Research, author, and publish opportunities are limited to currently trained staff.
- Innovative projects and extended activities are limited to only summer time.
Goals:
- Extensive daily student use of technology tools to create knowledge for themselves and to share it with others.
Gap:
- Implement, evaluate, and refine K-8 technology curriculum.
- Implement, evaluate, and refine K-8 RAP curriculum and integrate the skills across all subjects.
- Develop an assessment component for student tech curriculum.
- Foster the use of technology tools that support engaged teaching and learning.
- Use technology to engage learners and to enhance and improve instruction of the established curriculum.
- Expand implementation of TLC model to K-8.
- Develop ways to extend use of technology for students and staff during non-school hours.
