Superintendent Perry Soldwedel and Assistant
Superintendent Chuck Bowen presented the 2002 District Report
Card information at the October 21st Board of Education meeting.
By state rules and regulations, individual school report
card information is posted to the school's web site. It
has also been made available to the Pekin Daily Times and
the Peoria Journal Star. A copy of the school report card
can be printed from the web site. Upon request, a parent may
call the principal's office at each school and a copy of the
school card will be sent home.
Washington staff and students will be working on two main schoolwide
goals during the 2002-2003 school year. School Goal Oneis to continually improve students'
writing performance. School
Goal Twois to collect baseline data on student performance
and staff instructional practices. These goals were initiated
on August 29, 2002. They will be reviewed in January, and
evaluated on May 30 2003. Be sure to review the action plans
