    Patricia Baum Hackler

Leader of String Programs in Pekin 30 years...introduced Suzuki Method...a founding director of Central Illinoi Youth Symphony

In her final months, she was deeply moved and somewhat mystified by the outpouring of love, prayer, and support she received. When she was told of the resolution to name the auditorium after her, she was almost incredulous. Upon assuring her that her work with the children warranted such an honoring, she responded, "I just did what I loved to do."
