The Blizzard of 99
The snow started New Year's Day about 4:00 PM. The first picture in
this animation is about 4:00 PM, January 1, 1999. The second picture
of the animation was taken about 8:00 AM, January 2, 1999. The last
picture of the animation was taken about Noon on January 2. The snow had
accumulated to about 14 inches. School was cancelled in this area both
Monday, January 4, and Tuesday, January 5! Back to school on Wednesday.
Thursday, January 7, school was also cancelled for the extremely cold temperatures.The
