SPRINGFEST - The eighth annual SpringFest, sponsored by the POWER PTA, was held at Washington School on Saturday, May 3, 1997 from 11:00 - 2:00 P.M. This exciting day of food, fun, and games is designed to celebrate the great school year that we all have had and to help the incoming fourth grade students and their families feel welcomed. Local business partners donated prizes for the games and some partners even helped with the games! Additionally, a newly designed Washington Intermediate School T-shirt designed by the T-Shirt House was on sale. The exciting sounds of DJ ,Officer William Maddox ,provided the background music to a day filled with fun for the whole family.
