For the WebQuest about King Tut my group (team) thinks AY killed him. Our first reason why we think this was Ay could have wanted to rule him. Another reason is Tut wanted to rule by himself and Ay didn’t want him to. The last reason is Ay hurried up and had a funeral without checking into Tuts death.

Here are some reasons why Ay could of wanted to rule by himself. King Tutankhamun said he wanted to rule and make the decisions of his kingdom by himself. Tutankhamun wanted to change the decisions Ay made for him. But Ay didn’t want him to so he killed him.

Here are a couple of reasons we think Tuankhamun didn’t want him to. When Ay heard him say he wanted to rule by himself Ay didn’t want him to so he gave Tut a blow to the head. Ay didn’t think he was right about Tut wanting to rule Ay killed him.

Ay never checked into Tuts death he just hurried up and had a funeral. Tut was only 18 when he told Ay he wanted to rule by himself and Ay disagreed. Ay wanted to be king himself.

So those are some reasons why we think Ay murdered King Tutankhamun.
