We thought King Tutankhamun was murdered when he was about 19 years old. He was only in his 10th year of being king. Our group said he was around 9yrs. old when he became king.

We think it was murder. When scientists did X-rays on King Tut they found a blood clot in the back of his head that could have been caused from a blow to the head. If it wasn’t an accident then it was murder.

No one knows for sure, but some people think it could have been Ay, King Tut’s advisor could have killed him. King Tut was growing up and wanted to make his own decisions. Ay wanted to become king.

Ay became king after King Tut died. Instead of looking into Tut’s death he quickly had a funeral. Which makes him a sure suspect of murder.

In 1922, a water boy for Howard Carter was kicking sand in Egypt. When he came upon something hard, which turned out to be one of the sixteen stairs to King Tut’s tomb. Howard Carter called Lord Carnarvon telling him to come see what he had discovered. However, soon after the tomb was opened Lord Carnarvon died and so did many others. That’s why our group thinks it was MURDER!
