Open Image Go to File and Open. Find your image and select open. |

Image, Mode, RGB Go to image, go down to mode, and then down to RGB Color |

Make Background a Layer Double click on the Background layer and rename it to Layer 0. If the layers palette is not showing go to Windows , Show Layers. |

Insert Text To Insert Text Select the Type Tool

Layer Order Make sure that the text layer is under Layer 0. If it is not select the text layer and move it under layer 0. |

Alt Click Place the arrow between both layer 0 and the text layer. A) Press and hold the Alt key and click between both layers. |

Adjust The picture and the text can both be moved. Position the picture so that the balloons can be noticed. |
