Open Image Go to File and Open. Find your image and select open. |

Make Background a Layer Double click on the Background layer and rename it to Layer 0. If the layers palette is not showing go to Windows , Show Layers. |

Increase Canvas Add an extra inch to both the lenght and width. |

Select White Area Using the Magic Wand tool select the white area around the image. Make sure the tolerance is set for 1. |
