1) Download the pattern Download this pattern to the right by Right-Clicking, and then choosing Save Image As in the menu that pops up. |

2) Open image in Photoshop and Insert text When you open the image in Photoshop insert text into the pattern file using the text tool. |

Open the Layers Palette Choose the Window--> Show Layers menu. (the layers pallate may already be open). |

Make Background Layer 0 Double click on the background layer and rename it Layer 0 A) double Click on background Layer B) Rename it Layer 0 C) Select OK |

Move the Pattern layer above the Text Layer In other words, make your layers palette look like the one to the left. It should have the pattern layer (layer 1) above the text layer (apple). |

ALT-Click in between the layers While holding down the ALT key on your keyboard, click in between the two layers (as illustrated to the left). |

7) Presto! Your text should now look like this. It should incorporate the pattern into the text |
