	Education World - Cool School Award Education World selects one school web site per week.

	Education Excellence Award Awards for the best K-12 school web sites presented by Southwold Primary School in England.


	The Teacher's Corner Award Given to any type of educationally oriented web site.


	Cool School Award Continent and MidLink magazine highlights the best K-12 school web sites.

	Wise Owl Site of the Month The Wise Owl Site of the Month program was initiated in April 1996 to recognize those sites which best exemplify excellence in education and Web page design. No more than two sites are selected each month.

	Blue Web'n Sponsored by Pacific Bell, web sites that provide pointers to sites that target teachers, librarians, and learners, especially those that offer learning experiences. They do not usually include personal home pages, school home pages, or sites that advertise commercial products.

	Education World® All sites are individually evaluated in order to ensure their proper placement in our subject directory. Our mission is to collect top-quality resources for educators, students, and parents, and we appreciate your assistance towards that end. This is a free service.

	Skewl Sites Quality education comes first of all from dedicated, quality teachers. Secondly, it comes from quality resources. We are proud of the database of educational sites that we have made available in our Site Index based on our quality standards.

	Hot Spots The major focus of the site must be education. The audience should be either teachers or students, at any age level. It should be a content oriented site. It must be a non-commercial site. It should be visually appealing and interactive. It should be "Kid-Safe". It should exhibit that "Something Extra".

	Busy Educator's Award The Busy Educator's Award is given to sites which benefit Busy Educators.

	Snow Rogers Elementary School Awards The review process is first performed by adults and then if the site meets ALL the child specific criteria it is referred to the children for their review. We will notify you if you have won an award as soon as we review your site [1-6 weeks] depending on the size of the site and the reviewers' availability.

	Forest Technologies School of the Week Each week, Forest Technologies honors one school web site.

	Gigglepotz Site of the Week Site must be.... Useful and Interesting Content. Creative and Innovative Web Design. Collaboration of Teachers and Students in producing the School's Web Site.

	Class Acts Award Class Acts at About.com lists classroom, school, and district web pages from around the world. Directions for submitting your site can be found at the bottom of this page. Educators in Illinois, use this link to nominate your Illinois site.

	Outstanding Teen Resource Site of the Week The award is given to sites that contain information that is appropriate and valuable for junior high school students. Special consideration will be given to health related sites, but great junior high sites and other resources will also be highlighted.

	A is for Awesome Award This is an award that I will be giving out to student created web sites, children 12 and under only

	A School Zone Award One of the most sought after awards on the net. Your award held in archive for 3 more years. They give out the following awards... A GOLD Award that signifies perfection. 	School of the Month Award The SchoolWorld 'School Of The Month' Award is open to all registered SchoolWorld member schools. Each month the SchoolWorld Teachers' Panel will select one or more of our member schools to receive this award. Recipients of the award will be judged on web page design, use of the internet, participation, assistance to other schools and other categories. Emphasis will be placed on the effort of both teachers and students in internet use. Biggest may not be the best, or the coolest...!!!

	Online Teachers Apple Award Sponsored by OnlineTeacher.org and is dedicated to the top web sites on the internet providing valuable resources to teachers and aiding them in the education of todays youth, grades K to 8 and high school students. Featuring the best educational resources available and sites geared toward curriculum, lesson planning and student activity ideas for educators.

	USA Today - Educational Best Bet Each week, three new "Best Bet" Web sites - sites that contain valuable online resources for educators - are posted on the USA TODAY - Copernicus Community Education homepage. If you have a suggestion for a "Best Bet," please submit it to us using our form.

	Educational Site Award of Excellence Given to educational sites by Innovative Teaching Concepts for pages that are education related, visually attractive and easy to navigate and have interesting content (not just links) that teachers, parents, and students would find useful. 	Key Site Award This award is open to all web sites except those that offer illegal, or generally tasteless or hateful material. Commercial web sites are welcome even if the site was designed by someone other than the individual submitting the nomination. The criteria for the award are as follows:

	Star of the Web he STAR of the WEB AWARD is awarded monthly to a nominee who has consistently demonstrated significant and outstanding contributions to the World Wide Web. The purpose of the Star of the Web Award is to provide recognition to those individuals who, through their ongoing efforts, make the Web and the World a better place.

	Award of Excellence You may submit your page for consideration, or submit a friend's page. We may hunt the web and find sites on our own. Sites may be chosen every week, or at random intervals. Selected sites are listed in the Winners section of this site.
	Cyber Platinum Award Cyber Platinum Site Award is given out to sites that have excellent content, innovative design, easy of use, good presentation, and fast loading graphics.
