Making a Site
1) Choose SITE --> NEW SITE

 

2) Fill in a Site Name, Local Root Folder, and a HTTP Address

Site Name: Give your site a label (this can be anything--it's just for your own use)
Local Root Folder: Click on the folder icon, and find where your webpages are stored
HTTP Address: Type in the URL for your website

 

Consult a District Webmaster about how to set up FTP Access.


3) After Making a New Site
Upon completion, the site window will pop up.

The left side outlines what files are created on your computer. In order for others to be able to view them, you must publish (or FTP) your files. After your FTP account has been set up, simply drag your files from the left column, to the right column. All files published in the right column will be available online.
