Jagged Edges
Using Adobe Photoshop 6

Before

After

1) Open Image
Go to File and Open. Find your image and select open.
   
2) Image, Mode, RGB
Go to image, go down to mode, and then down to RGB Color
   
3) Make Background a Layer
If layer reads "background" double click on the Background layer and rename it to Layer 0. If the layers palette is not showing go to Windows , Show Layers.
   

4) Increase Canvas
To increase the canvas size first go to image, canvas size.
Then add an extra inch to both the length and width.
   

5) Select the Image
Select the mage not including any of the additional white space.
   

6) Select, Modify, Border
Go to:
A) Select
B) Modify
C) Border

Then go to
A) Set border for 25 pixels
B) Select OK

 
   
8) Sprayed Strokes
Go to
A) Filters
B) Brush Strokes
C) Sprayed Strokes
 
9) Sprayed Strokes Settings
To make jagged edges:
A) Use the zoom in and out to see the whole picture
B) Set the Stroke Length to 5
C) Set the Spray Radius to 15
D) Select OK
 
10) Crop the Final Image
To Crop the final image select the area you want. Go to Image, Crop
