Resizing the Canvas Using Adobe Photoshop 5.5
Before	After

	1) Open Image Go to File and Open. Find your image and select open.

	2) Image, Mode, RGB Go to image, go down to mode, and then down to RGB Color

	3) Make Background a Layer If the layer reads "background" double click on the Background layer and rename it to Layer 0. If the layers palette is not showing go to Windows , Show Layers.

	4) From the Image menu, choose Canvas Size. To resize the Canvas: A) Slect Image B) Select Canvas Size

	5) Change Canvas Size To Change the Canvas Size: A) Put 3 for the Width B) Put 4 For the Height Then go to step 6

	6) The Grid In the grid at the bottom of the window, select in which direction you would like photoshop to stretch your canvas. Example: By clicking on the box on the top-right, it will expand the canvas to the bottom-left. Then Select OK.
