AUP with Release Form

The following K-12 School Districts do not currently have an official web publishing policy, however, they have integrated their web publishing guidelines into their Acceptable Use Policy and have also included some type of release form that address parental permission for using student photos, names, and work.

Highlights:

• Written parental permission is required for publish an identifiable student information or records.
• There are two separate permission forms - one for publishing student work and another for publishing student information.
• AUP includes guidelines regarding web page development

• Staff and students must provide print or electronic copy of webpages to the library media specialist before posting.
