Lick Creek Golf Course re-opened May 5, 2007 after being closed to renovate all tees, greens, fairways and greenside bunkers. All of the tees and fairways were converted to creeping bentgrass for a much better playing surface. The entire project went very well and the golfers who have been out to play are very excited about the changes that were made. Fairway bunkers have been rebuilt with new drainage and new sand to provide a more consistent playing area. If you have not been out to see the changes you will be amazed at the quality and condition of a golf course like Lick Creek for the very reasonable fees that are charged.
