Enjoy the Miller Center
The purpose of the Miller Center is to serve the needs and interests of the older adults in Tazewell County. We welcome and encourage all seniors to participate in the many programs, activities and services offered by the Miller Center. Drop by the Center to meet with new and old friends and enjoy the pleasant surroundings! In addition to the many programs and services mentioned in this web site the Miller Center has specialized facilities for senior activities including a wood-carving shop, craft room, pool table, and table shuffleboard. The McNaughton Lounge is available for individual and small group activities and meetings. Our large multi-purpose room is used for large group activities and the noon meal served daily Monday-Friday. We are a central "Information and Referral Center". Contact us for information or assistance concerning education, nutrition, health issues, legal aid, employment, transportation, recreation, social counseling, and cultural topics for mature adults. All seniors are welcome! |

Miller Center Transportation Service......Do you need a ride to or from the Miller Center for programs, activities, or the senior meal? Do you need a ride to your doctor's or dentist's office, grocery store, or any other appointments? It’s Deanna, Jack and Stan’s pleasure to serve you! Donations are appreciated but not required Partically funded by United Way. Simply call at least 24 hours in advance for your reservation, 346-5210. Inclement /Severe Weather......The Miller Center, in cooperation with the American Red Cross Disaster Center serves as a safe place to come for food, shelter, and comfort during extreme tempratures, severe weather conditions or disasters. Come and stay with us until the severe weather passes. Need a Spot for A Meeting or Party? We Can Help You!.....The Miller Center is an ideal location for wedding receptions, anniversaries, showers, banquets, or private meetings. We have two spacious areas that may be rented to accommodate up to 250 guests. The beautiful McNaughton Lounge is a wonderful location for small parties or gatherings for groups of 35 or less. Call 346-5210 for rental rates and availability. Who Me? Volunteer? ...A staff of dedicated, generous, and hard-working volunteers support the Miller Center. You make this Center what it is.
