6th Grade
Class Saint - St. Patrick
The 6th grade teacher is Mrs. Coyer. She has been teaching for
five years, but has only been teaching here at St. Joseph's for three
years.
She did not always know that she wanted to be a teacher, but she has
always worked with people. She did
not attend St. Joseph School in her youth. In helping her decide to
become a teacher,
her own experience left an impact on her. While in high school, a
teacher embarrassed her in front of the entire class. She does not
want to be that kind of teacher.
This year she has twenty-two students in homeroom for 6th grade. She has fifty-six students for Science classes. Her class is planning a bovine picnic, and horse back riding at the end of the year field trip. A special event that will take place for her class is: Jim Conover, author of the book Greenhorns and Killer Mountains, will be interviewed by the 6th grade class.
