Sponsor Friends

    St. Joseph School  has made a commitment the last five years to sponsor two individuals through Christian Foundation for Children and Aging. This year we continue to be committed to this project. We sponsor  Riviera, who is in 9th grade in Columbia. He enjoys soccer and learning new things. We also sponsor Maria, who is a 66 year old woman in the Philippines. She enjoys her family and gardening. Each month we promise to send $40 total to sponsor both of our friends. We do this through our monthly collection on the 1st Friday of each month. As a sacrifice we do not offer snack on 1st Friday, the money can then be given to help our sponsor friends. It's amazing what your child 's 50 cents can do for our friends each month.
    The money sent to Ruvier and Maria ensures them the following things: clean water, safe food to eat, a roof over their heads, access to a free medical and dental clinic, educational classes, school supplies, healthy snacks, clothing, the opportunity to continue their religious education, a birthday gift and Christmas present from St. Joseph School Community and much, much more. We are providing them with hope and a better way to build a future for their families and themselves. What a great gift to give!
