Miss Weakley
3rd Grade
Teacher Aide- Mrs. Dickson
Class Saint-St.
Bernadette

Miss Weakley started teaching at St. Joseph's in 1973. She has been
teaching for 34 years. While growing up she did not know that teaching
was going to be
her career. As a child,
Miss Weakley did not attend St. Joseph's School.
She attended Holy Family School in Peoria.
This year,
Miss Weakley has 27
children in her class. This
school year Miss Weakley is taking her third grade class on
several interesting field trips. They will be going to the symphony in
Peoria and to Wildlife Prairie State Park. The
class will be
doing some special projects and events. They will be making
habitats to display in the hall and they will be writing about
habitats. Next, they will create a PowerPoint about their habitat.
Writing to
the Tazewell
County Deputies for the holidays throughout the year is a class project
for Miss Weakley. Miss Weakley's
class will be performing two plays throughout the year. In January,
they performed the play "Pecos Bill". If you have taken a visit to Miss
Weakley's classroom lately you would see the students created large
paper models of the planets of the Solar System. They have begun
their Write Source Curriculum in this 2nd semester. In May, Miss
Weakley is
looking forward to seeing the progress the children have made
throughout the year!
