Class Saint- St. Christopher



    Mrs. Dare started teaching at St. Joseph's School in 1993.  She has been teaching 15 years, including this present year.  Mrs. Dare teaches the 7th and 8th Graders Math, Literature and English.  Mrs. Dare has always known she wanted to be a teacher.  Her best memory of school as a child was learning French in the 3rd Grade.  Mrs. Dare is the monitor for student council and yearbook. In her class year this year, she has 20 students. 
     The 8th Grade class will be going to ISU Milner Library for their career paper second semester and St. Louis for their class trip in May.  The 8th grade will have many special projects that they will work on including a career paper, multiple literature projects, and coordinating the Math A-Thon.  Some of their Literature projects consist of presentations using the computer. The class creates presentations in Hyperstudio and KidPix with data gathered from their Literature class. This second semester the 8th graders will have a character party and mock trial in Literature class. The 8th grade class helps the 1st Grade and Kindergarten students throughout the school year.
