  • PFEC Families: Today, 5/22/20, concluded our remote learning for the 19/20 school year. A box to collect packets will be outside of walker doors (NE Corner of Building) until 3 pm on Wednesday, May 27th.  Thank you so much for your flexibility & willingness to engage your students in remote learning. Have a great summer! 

    Packet 5 started on Friday, May 8th and will continue through May 22nd.  May 22nd is the last remote learning day for studentsa t PFEC.  If you have any questions regarding packet pick-up, drop-off or screening, please contact us at 309-477-4730.

    Preschool Spring Screening

    Due to the uncertainty associated with COVID 19, we will be postponing our preschool screenings scheduled for Spring of 2020.  This includes screening dates in March, April and May.  If you were already signed up for a spring screening date, we will keep your name and number and contact you when screening dates have been rescheduled.  We apologize for this inconvenience, feel free to contact us at 309-477-4730 if you have any questions. Thanks for your patience and understanding during this uncertain time.

  • NO SCHOOL through the end of the year.  Please check for District messages and emails regarding packet pick-up and drop-off.  If you have questions, please contact the PFEC office at 309-477-4730.  Messages are checked daily.

    • The WIC (Women, Infants, and Children) program is federally funded  through the Department of Agriculture.
    • WIC provides nutrition education, health assessments and food vouchers
      to pregnant, breastfeeding, and post partum women, and families with
      infants and children under the age of 5. For Internet education

    • Clients must reside in Tazewell County, be within the required federal income 
      guidelines, and have a nutritional or medical reason to qualify.
