Who We Serve:
- Families with children prenatal to 3 years old
- Families must meet the state’s guidelines as determined through a screening process. Some criteria are as follows:
- low-income families
- homeless families
- Families in which English is not the primary language
- Teen parent(s) and parent(s) who have not completed high school
- Children with a potential developmental delay
- Foster families
- Families living without a support system
What We Do:
- Free personal home visits – weekly or bi-weekly
- Build and develop family’s strengths and goals
- Ages and Stages developmental screenings for children
- Friendly parent groups to meet and socialize with other parents
- Connections to resources and other agencies in the area
- Special family events throughout the year
- Play groups to encourage peer social interaction
- Monthly Parent Education with community speakers
- Toy and Book Loan
- Research based Baby Talk curriculum for children birth to 3 years old
- Educational activities
- Spanish speaking Family Educator available
