Prenatal to Three Program
FREE PROGRAM
(Must live in the Pekin District 108 boundaries)
Who We Serve:
- Families with children prenatal to 3 years old 
- Families must meet the state’s guidelines as determined through a screening process. 
Some criteria are as follows: 
Low-income families 
Homeless families
Families in which English is not the primary language
Teen parent(s) and parent(s) who have not completed high school
Children with a potential developmental delay
Foster families
Families living without a support system
What We Do:
- Free personal home visits – bi-weekly 
- Build and develop family’s strengths and goals 
- Ages and Stages developmental screenings for children 
- Friendly parent groups to meet and socialize with other parents 
- Connections to resources and other agencies in the area 
- Special family events throughout the year 
- Play groups to encourage peer social interaction 
- Toy and Book Lending Library 
- Research based Baby Talk curriculum for children prenatal to 3 years old 
- Educational activities 
- Spanish speaking Family Educator available 
The Preschool Family Education Center is a school dedicated to the education of young children through developmentally appropriate practices, family partnerships and community involvement.
*The Prenatal to Three Program is funded by the Illinois State Board of Education Prevention Initiative Grant.
