Greetings CBSmith Primary School community!
I am thrilled to introduce myself as the newest addition to the C.B. Smith family - your new principal, Mrs. Smith. It is an absolute privilege to serve as the educational leader of this wonderful institution. I am excited to work alongside our amazing faculty and staff to provide a quality education to every student who walks through our doors.
For those who may not know me yet, I would like to share a little about my background. I have been in the field of education for 15 years, with the past 4 years spent in administration. Prior to this role, I served as a teacher at the intermediate level. I am passionate about instilling a love for learning in every student and equipping them with the skills they need to thrive both academically and personally.
On a personal note, I am married to Ryan and together we have three wonderful children - Olivia, Naomi, and Sully. I was born and raised here in Pekin and I am proud to continue serving this community as your principal. I look forward to getting to know each and every one of you and working together to create a nurturing, safe, and engaging environment for our students to learn and grow in.
