The Junior High Band had a very busy September 10 and 11 playing for the Crosstown Baseball Game, 2 Recruitment Concerts, and a Concert for their parents.
Special thanks to our guests Tanner, Aleta, Peggy, Rich, Greg, and Connie for joining us on our morning concerts.
Mr. Sheldon always asks a 5th grade volunteer to be our "John Phillip Sousa" and direct our march during the concert; concert uniform, plume, and extra long baton.
Beginning Band parent night will be held on Tuesday, September 15 at Washington Intermediate Auditorium at 4:30 OR 5:30.

CB Smith's 3rd Grade held a "Miss Marigold Meet & Greet" and had a mini medallion hunt that ended on the new playground!

Miss Marigold, Sarah Frahm, and Junior Miss Marigold, Piper Cole, visited Jefferson!

District 108 will always remember September 11, 2001.

Early Dismissal Friday!

Tonight's Special Board of Education Meeting will now take place in the Washington School Cafeteria at 6:00 pm .

There will be an emergency meeting of the Board of Education today at 4:00 pm in Room 108 at Washington Intermediate School.

Dear District 108 Families,

Thank you for your patience, understanding, and cooperation as we worked through the transportation challenges experienced on the first day of school.

After working diligently with Alltown Bus Service throughout the day and this evening, we have determined that the current transportation situation does not meet our expectations for the safe and reliable transportation of our students. Student safety must come first, and we are not willing to compromise on that responsibility.

Therefore, District 108 will use two emergency days on Thursday, August 20, and Friday, August 21, 2026. There will be no school for students on these two days.

During this time, District 108 will continue working closely with Alltown to correct the transportation issues, verify routes and schedules, and ensure we are prepared to safely resume school on Monday, August 24, 2026.
