The extraordinarily student-focused team at Jefferson spent two days together collaborating, calibrating, and caffeinating as they learned more about "Teaching Reading Across the Day." And it's not even summer yet, technically. Way to go, Jefferson!
Summer learning continues for our teachers and administrators! Today and tomorrow, they are attending the annual District Summer Institute, focusing on "Teaching Reading Across the Day." It's another example of the adults in our district exemplifying the "lifelong learner" attribute!

May 27 is the last day of school for K-8 students, and there will be early dismissal. PFEC's last day is May 26.
There will be no school on Monday, May 25, 2026 in honor of Memorial Day.
At its meeting last night, the Board of Education recognized Edison Junior High's Scholastic Bowl Team for winning their first Regional Championship since 2014! D108 is incredibly proud of their efforts! Way to go, team!

Congratulations to the students of our Beginning, Intermediate, and Junior High Bands for their exceptional performance at PCHS during their final spring concert! The concert featured the theme “Technology and Machines,” and the students delivered an electrifying and energetic performance.
This week is about recognizing the incredible work our teachers do every single day. Teachers, thank you for showing up for your students, your colleagues, and our community. Thank you for the patience, the care, the encouragement, and the belief you pour into our kids. What you do matters more than you probably hear, and the impact you make is lasting. Keep doing great things for our students!
