Purchasing a Bus Pass
The City of Pekin Bus Department offers paid bus passes for students who do not qualify for free bus transportation based on location (1 ½ miles from school) and/or a state-identified hazard. These paid bus passes are approved/denied by the City of Pekin Bus Department based on their ability to provide the requested transportation.
If you are interested in applying for a paid bus pass, please complete the Google Form found here. https://forms.gle/jafzcRprnDrWAqxZ6 You must complete the form for each student. The City of Pekin Bus Department will review the information and either approve or deny the request. Once a request has been approved, Pekin Public Schools District 108 will then add the fee to Skyward Family Access and collect payment. Once payment has been collected, the City of Pekin will include the pickup/dropoff in their routes. School secretaries will notify parents that the service will begin and inform them of the time and location of the bus stop.
Any requests made and approved after 8/12/2021, would not start until 8/30/2021.
Fees will be assessed as follows:
Full year starting 8/18/2021 - $250.00
Starting 10/25/2021 - $187.50
Starting 1/10/2022 - $125.00
Starting 3/14/2022 - $62.50

Accessing Transportation Information Online - Coming Soon for 2021 - 2022
Pekin Municipal Bus has released a new way for parents to get live location information about the bus your child rides to and from school. My Stop is highly compatible tool that will run on PC, Android and IOS. Now you can see the location of the bus enroute to and from school. A mobile version for Android is available from the Playstore and at The ITunes App Store for IOS users. My Stop is also available online.

To download the app - search the app store for Versatrans My Stop.
The first time you use the app you will be prompted to select a school. Select Pekin Municipal Bus. Then you will be prompted to sign in.
The MyStop mobile app allows the transportation department to "push" messages to users that have installed the app. The app can also alert users if a route is running late. On the days of early dismissal, the live information will not be available.

How do I find out my username and password? Coming Soon
Login to your Skyward Family Access Account. Using the left menu, choose Portfolio. You will see a link for My Stop. Click on the link and allow the report to run. Click on View Report when it has finished processing. Your username and password will open in a new pdf document.
