District 108 Teachers & Administrators continue their professional learning at this week’s Responsive Classroom Summer Institute. Over 100 educators from all grade levels are participating in the workshop, which focuses on key procedures and practices such as engaging academics, positive community, effective management, and developmental awareness. Here they are learning to develop and refine practices such as Morning Meeting, Interactive Modeling, and Academic Choice.
There was so much interest in the institute that both Jefferson and Washington had to host sessions! School teams are taking the knowledge gained from the week and preparing to apply it to their classrooms on the first day of school and beyond! It’s just another example of our staff’s deep commitment to professional development…even during the summer!
